AndaSeat has introduced the Phantom 4 Series, an ergonomic seating platform designed to accommodate the natural movements people make during activities such as working, gaming, and reading. The series emphasizes consistent support while allowing for user movement without the need for constant manual adjustments.
A standout feature of the Phantom 4 is its Dynamic Auto-Tracking Lumbar system, which provides customizable lumbar support across 15 locking positions within a 0–95 mm adjustment range. This system allows the lumbar structure to swivel approximately 5 degrees to either side and tilt through a 25-degree forward-and-back range, maintaining user comfort as the torso shifts.
The chair’s design integrates this responsive lumbar system with a 55 kg/m³ cold-cure foam seat, offering a stable base. Both the Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro models enable a backrest recline of up to 135 degrees and include a rocking function of around 15 degrees, facilitating a variety of seating positions.
While the Phantom 4 features 2D armrests with forward-back and vertical adjustment, an adjustable memory-foam head pillow, and a butterfly tilt mechanism, the Phantom 4 Pro enhances this with 3D 360-degree rotating armrests, additional adjustment options, and a multi-function tilt mechanism with tilt-lock capability.
AndaSeat’s design philosophy emphasizes that responsive seating should not attempt to control every movement. Instead, it should offer a stable foundation while allowing selected components to adapt to minor changes in position.
By focusing on balancing stability, user-controlled adjustment, and mechanical responsiveness, the Phantom 4 Series aims to reflect how people naturally sit, rather than assuming a fixed posture throughout work or gaming sessions.
