Tom Cruise is gearing up to step back into the racing world as he reprises his role as Cole Trickle in a sequel to the 1990 film Days of Thunder. The announcement was made by Cruise during an event at Daytona International Speedway, just before NASCAR’s regular-season finale. The new film is slated for a theatrical release on June 2, 2028.
